I worked on this campaign during my final year at WSU on the Student Advertising Competition Team.
I operated as the media director for this campaign, playing a significant leadership role on the team. My responsibilities included conducting and overseeing the market and consumer research efforts, building the media plan and strategy, building the outreach plan and strategy, and budgeting the campaign. I was also one of four presenters tasked with explaining our campaign, and impressing the judges and clients.
This campaign was a challenge. It involved juggling all my research, media, promotions, budgeting, and leadership skills at once–while learning about DMPs, DSPs, and Analytics in a way we could message simply for consumers. I learned a lot and finished college passionate about media, and knowing I can handle any challenge I face in the future.
